I had an issue with my right side (back) quad burning. It started when I went from a medium M6 to a small Demo 8. After some heavy analysis (it hurt my head), I figured out that when I was where I needed to be over the bars, I was too far behind the Bottom Bracket for general charging. I switched the stem from 45 mm to 55 mm, and now I am centered over the cranks in my attack position. The burning is gone. Hope this helps.

Thanks T but my problem is from my surgery, I still do not have full range of motion in my left knee so I can not get into the proper position with the left back so I have to keep the right foot back.

    So,

It was fun to get our there and race. It was great to see all the faces, and hang out.

In my run, I managed to keep the nerves calm, and I had pretty much the run that I envisioned. I was going for super consistent and safe, but still trying to be fast. Off course, the times between me and the other shop guys are almost more important (to us) than the category results. Tony G and I had been talking crap all week, and after a couple of shuttle missions together, I was sure I had him. He had a good run though, and beat me by 2 seconds. I will not be hearing the end of this. Still, I am stoked to only be 4 seconds off fast young gun (and newest shop kid) Jake. I thought he would get me by more. This may be my last victory over young Luke. He is a better rider than me, but I edged him out by less than a second. This is his first race back from a tib fib, and likely my last victory over him.

Thanks to Donny, his family, and SRC. Thanks to all the racers.

Special personal thanks to all of you who raced in a Path jersey. It really does mean a lot to me to see our colors represented.

    I have re-posted the galleries here http://christopherwood.smugmug.com/Mountain-Bike/2010-Racing

I was the guy with the giant camera and the baby. I was trying to see if I could handle the baby and the camera at the same time so I brought the longest lens I had so I could shoot from a long ways away (the whole camera weighs over 10 lb with that lens). It made for some fun shots when I was not otherwise occupied. Too bad I couldn't shoot more. At least I got to introduce my little guy to the best sport in the world at a young age (3.5 months).

Got a new flash for Christmas. Still working on getting it 100% right. When it does work it makes for some sick shots. The website shows a lower quality picture than they actually are. The colors are way better and the images are way crisper than the site shows.

Here is what the site shows...

Jaime, you crashing again?! Must carry some smelling salt from now on. Hope you're okay, mang!

Who was that behind him? Looks like he ate it pretty good and is lying upside down against the rock. Hope he was okay.

I heard Cody (Just Ride) crashed hard and went to the ER. Anyone know what happen and if he's okay?
