It handles the rain pretty well compared to a lot of places...I'll be up there on sun possibly racing 35-44 beginner(depends on how I feel after my tourney on sat)

    Dang Me!

I did Sport for old men and it kicked my ever-livin'-ass. Yeppers -- I finished last (Woo!). Hey, at least I finished. Shoulda done Beginners -- woulda been on the podium if I had. Hee hee.

Met Maxwell and Lacey. Nice dude and great to see both of them in their Path jerseys. I waslookin' around for STR jerseys, but didn't see any, so sorry I didn't hook up with anyone else.

I was in the DAD'S ROOT BEER jersey in case you are wondering.

Willie had to DNF --- he bonked on his second loop. Too bad. We'll put him on a single loop next time, and that will keep him out of the 18 and Under category...

Dang me, that silt on the steeps threw me off the bike five freakin' times. Ouchie. I felt like I left the place with half the mountain in my shorts. My shoulder hurts (it's okay for an old man to say that...).

    I'll post some pics later.

Hey Maxwell...CONGRATULATIONS to your daughter Lacey today!!! Saw her on the Super D roster and first in her xc category. What a speed demon  . Way to represent the ladies. Saw a few Path jerseys practicing dh...nice meeting you Andy.
Luck to everyone racing. Maybe the rain will help the DH course. :-k (one guy in his 50's broke his ankle today on a Cannondale xc bike at practice)
Some shots from practice...Ross, Brian and Ryan.

Awesome pics of the race, Eric (as are many others in the various galleries on your site -- fine work throughout). That one you posted here is the best in the lot, for sure. Absolutely superb action image!

It was good talking with you at various times during the day. Hey, your pics even make me look good (and that's hard to do). But, at the very least they do show that I actually rode over that rock face...

I still say camoflauge is the way to go, dude. Hide in the bushes and surprise us next time (erm... maybe not).

shudder - Nice talking to you at the race. Hopefully I didn't cause too many crashes yesterday.

I won't be at the DH race today because of a previous booking, but I'll be at the rest of the races for the series. I do have some DH practice shots I'll be putting up later today.
