I had fun today despite the crazy wind and chunks of dirt in my eyeballs. Keith called it "exfoliation" but man it was painful! I had a good time cheering and heckling with CC, Dino, Jesse, both Jeffs, Pugz, and the other dude - sorry I forgot your name! Jeff S was nice enough to purchase a cowbell before the race so we had plenty of cowbell for everyone.

Jason (or "Janson") rode his Socom today (his first real ride on it) and he liked it a lot - got 2nd place! Good job honey! :bang: We can almost call you a sandbagger now ;)

Anyway, just want to add that anyone who had the huevos to race today in this wind is pretty kick-ass in my book. Good job everyone!

Seeing as that I don't make any income off the pictures I take I'll stick to the free sites. I'd probably need Dino's brothers camera equipment if I were ever going to tackle the task of taking pictures as my profession. Thanx tho

The thing that is interesting with photography is that you never know when you might make money from it. The right picture, at the right time, seen by the right people and bam you can make $5, $10, $25 or more.

If you post pics to the internet, and I mean anywhere you should try to do it with a bit of that in mind and you just never know. Someone might see it and like it and hit you up about it.

    Ha Ha

I didn't get to practice. The only time down whole course was my race run.
With the wind I don't think would have mattered if I knew where I was going.:-k:?:
It was my first ride on that bike. I think I like it.

I know what you are saying

My glasses push my goggles out far enough to let the dust/wind in. It sucks I need laser surgery .

I took a few. My camera has been dropped one too many times so the quality is pretty poor. Unfortunately these are the only ones that match up with the numbers posted in the other thread.

Hi, I was in the 11-12 beginner mens. I got 4th place out of 4, but I didn't crash this time. The wind was blowing me around so much, but wasn't it blowing everyone too?
I need to eat more double cheese burgers so I'll get less blown over.:?::?::bang::bang::-s:-sI guess?

Hope you all had fun. I had planned to make it up there, but my friend went to church got out late and then flaked out on me and I really didn't want to do the drive out there by myself (Im like a high school girl that has to bring her friend to the restroom). Maybe once I get my new fork(maybe sooner than expected) I'll do super d and dh.

You can make a lot more than $25.00... A doubletruck (Zoom) in ESPN the Magazine or a cover on SI pays $1,000. I spent all last spring shooting the San Diego Padres and praying for a paycheck like that. But it didn't happen. Maybe this year!
