I will be needing a tour guide for a training ride through SR. I want to try it out on the 23rd. Please let me know if you can ride with me and show me the trail. I plan on racing it on the 30th.

    Thanks!

Yeah I im still going. This rain might put a damper on out plans. But they are expecting it to rain later in the afternoon, so we can beat it.

Who else is joining us? armando?

Edit: I Just saw the weather and it looks bad. If it rains you think it should be cancelled?

Yeah it is, the soil soaks up most of the water. Ive ridden it after the big storms last winter, and they were all rideable.

Southridge is a great place to ride right after the rains, very minimal mud

Great! Sounds like a good place to go. Just to warn you guys, I might ask alot of questions about the race it self on the 30th. This will be my 1st SR race. Which means I will need all the low down on how to ride the course and what to expect and etc.

I'll see both of you there tomorrow!

    Trung,

Sorry to bail out on you like that. I did get to the top of the water tank after picking up my lungs off the floor a couple times. Then I went left at the water tank and went down and got lost for a while. After feeling too weak from all my coughing, I decided to head back. So I tried to go through the neighborhood to get back to my car.

Hopefully I will feeling much better by next week.

    Re: SR

Yeah I hope I wasnt going too fast. I usually stop for people at the top of the long climbs. When I was waiting for you there I could hear you coming up but when I turned around I didnt see you. I thought you took the fireroad on the left and went downhill. So I went down a bit to look for you and I stil didnt see you. So I kinda figured you turned around. Ill see you next week and get better!

The trail is going to be very sandy so be prepared for sand traps and loose turns.
