Wow!!!

That looks like you were flying!!! What is up with those guys in the way of your race run. I did bad! Took a good soil sample on the left turn after the first open straight away. Could not breathe after I got up only to have everyone tell me to get the hell out of the way!! Guess they could not tell I was and could not catch my breath then went down in the rock garden. Even if I was in the class with you, you would keep handing the arse whoppin to me. :beer:

 

Man that course looked fun. I decided not to race and took out the kids. Had I raced, I may have got an earful. Any how I was talking to Johnny after the race, I think he scared himself in the rock garden when he pinned it. He looked smooth. Turns out it was on accident.:lol::bang: After it was all over the kids met another group of kids and they all played. Daven got to ride the 4x track. Sorry we missed lunch, but the kids were having to much fun.

 

that was my slower practice run!!!! that was the 3:08 run!!!!
my cam didnt record the race run(dead batteries) but i hit the lower section faster than in the video.

oh yeah im a 200+ club rider!... i have to give a shout out to my buddy RL who raced in my class.... he made me want this win, its all great to get to ride with friends.

 

Oh and BTW nice to meet Dirty Mike. That bike rides sweet. At least I got a small taste of the course.

Another great day in Fontana!!! My family finally made it out to watch, the weather was great and I didn't take any soil samples this time. What more could you ask for.

This was my first race at Fontana without mommy.:lol: On our way to Fontana she said "I want a 1st place trophy". Just a little pressure. I didn't want her to leave because I was worried about lunch. Seriously. Lunch was on my mind. Thanks to her for driving out there to drop me off to Denmother and Roger. It was fun as always racing on the 4x track.

Thanks to Bob for practicing with me and all the tips. I felt alot smoother on the track yesterday, than most days. Also, I wore more gear than usual and it made me feel more confident (thanks Traci). Thanks to all the STR peeps that pulled out there phones to call my mom about gear.:lol:

Robyn made me work hard on my runs. It was fun racing with her and Lala. My first run I consider my best run out on the 4x track. The second run I had a bad gate and had to work hard to get 1st. Next race I'll be looking forward to my 1st DH race. If my bike isn't completed by then I'll have to borrow a bike.

Congratulations to all the racers out there this weekend. Also to Traci for placing 2nd today on DH.

Neil, that was a crack up when the guy chasing her at the bottom went head over heals while running.:lol:

 

I went out today to see the DH, and let me say that this was the first time I have ever witnessed a DH event. Wow, know I know what I have been missing. Its really cool to see those guys plow through the rock garden.

Big shot out to Elvis, rocked the DH on a Hardtail dirtjump bike. Even moved a rock on the way through the rock garden, some witnesses say a CL can flew out of his pocket.

and Traci, congratulations on the podium, you killed it today, I must say out of all the women in your class I think that you came through with the most control and kept your cool throughout. I am super stoked for you, and look foward to the next race to watch you do what you do.

So even after i RSVP'd no i ended up racing today. I just was too confident after making 9 runs yesterday to not go out and race. Ended up getting 4th and having a great time!! The course was nice and tacky in the corners and boy do i love that section after the G-out on the top!! 415y for pics if you got em
