either way, as far as I see it, the only way to get these crazies over seeing pictures of muhammad is to put them up everywhere...

Yes for almost a year during Desert Storm. The things I speak of are all from first hand experience. That's why i get so annoyed at all of the bravado talk from people who have never been there and never had to use a weapon in an act of war to kill someone(s).

    That's so funny!

I saw a comment in the original story where the poster even bragged about having that Muhamed wearing a bomb as his avatar.

Spent time and worked in Indonesia, the Philippines, Dubai, and Saudi.

Had roommates and friends from Pakistan, Iran, and India while in college.

Until I moved here to SoCal, I had spent a good portion of my adult life living outside of the United States.

I'm no expert on any of these places, nor the people. My consternation is specifically directed at the those so fanatical in their beliefs (and anyone who would support them) as to actively seek out nothing less than my annihilation and that of my country. Including that of anyone else who challenges their insane system of beliefs.

It is these folks that not only need to be taken out ASAP, but deservedly so.

Introducing the First “Everybody Draw Mohammad Day”

by Stephan Tawney on Fri, Apr 23, 2010

Americans are getting sick and tired of Islamist thugs threatening to hurt and even kill innocent people for doing nothing more than criticizing Islam, drawing a picture of Mohammed, or even uttering the Muslim prophet’s name. No one should live in fear of physical retaliation for utilizing his or her First Amendment rights.
We all know by now that Comedy Central, a network that considers itself brave and edgy for criticizing American politicians, censored an episode of South Park. I’ve never been a fan of the show, to be honest. But the network was cowardly for permitting Islamist threats to determine its programming.
Enough is enough. It’s time to tell these thugs to go screw themselves. Which brings us to the first annual “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day”. Someone, it’s not clear who, has declared May 20th to be the host day for the new holiday. You can see the poster here, but I’ll copy the text below:
In light of recent veiled (ha!) threats aimed at the creators of the television show South Park (for depicting the prophet Mohammed in a bear suit) by bloggers on Revolution Muslim’s website, we hereby deem May 20, 2010 as the first annual
    “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!”
Do your part to both water down the pool of targets and, oh yeah, defend a little something our country is famous for (but maybe not for long? Comedy Central cooperated with terrorists and pulled the episode)
    the first amendment
Sponsored by Citizens Against Citizens Against Humor or CACAH (pronounced ca-ca).
The initiative is dedicated to Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park.
Have an entry? You can send it to Michael Moynihan of Reason here.
If readers would like to show their solidarity, please email your Mohammad masterpieces to me here: mmoynihan at reason.com. The best ones will be published on Hit & Run, which, along with the concomitant death threat, is reward enough.

(you can google for more hits, this was just one)

I really don't see the problem of, or fuss about posting pictures of Mohammed. The internet is full of them. I mean, he was a badarse:

or is it that other dude, the dead one who heard voices in his head and wrote a book, they are annoyed about?
