Every year I ask for bike stuff and never get a thing bike related. This year my wife and parents made progress. I think it helped that they opened a Trek store by the house.

    1) $50 gift card to Trek Superstore
    2) Discovery Team Jersey
    3) Ibex Wool arm and knee warmers
    4) $100 from Mom and Dad "to buy bike stuff"

*Minewt x2 dual lights. (hooray! i can go night riding now!)

*a Spin Doctor Pro G3 repair stand. (hooray! i know longer have to put the bike on the rack on the back of my car to work on my bike!)

*an iPod touch. (hooray! i was totally surprised by that one!) this thing is gorgeous. functional art at its finest. But I've been warned that i can't bring this one mountain biking because I crushed the last one back in August during a spill off the bike. Fair enough.

    *a crock pot (no, really.)

and other nice stuff that i didn't deserve.:)

oh, and we invited all of our friends who were alone for Christmas to come over and hang for the day. there were like 10 of us and we played our new Wii and ate chili and crab legs and drank beer and we went through a gallon of tequila while imbibing Holiday Margaritas. I feel so rough today, but dang was it a blast!

Hey I use my crock pot all the time. One of my favorite kitchen items. I have become quite the pot chef.
