I think our definitions of slaying are very different, I've ridden with plenty of big boys at plenty of big trails.....just don't like people that come on here like they know it all or are Badass riders when they aren't and aren't even close. With that said I'm far from the best/fastest

You want them to race sea doos? That would be fun, but how about go karts? I'd recommend pole position in corona that way we can all get in on the action.

You might not want my crappy city attitude but you want my city money because without our city money that allows that place to survive.

I am not expecting the same old things for more money and now requiring a special season pass. If they actually have a bike park I am willing to pay bike park prices, but I am not about to pay more to ride the same stuff so they can get money to build a bike park.

Yeah I m not my target demographic, I have had a season pass for the last 3-4 years(mostly for summer use). I travel to Whistler annually for a week. Yeah I'm not there target demographic for the bike park.

My point is you need to have more then two lines about new stuff then nine lines about the old stuff, then say you need to pay more, you need a special season pass.

Like I said if there was a real bike that would be a different story.

I hafta say, the first sentence on the sites mtb page looks very promising: So Cal’s only lift served Bike Park is coming to Snow Summit this summer! We have teamed up with Gravity Logic and will be having all new trails for mountain bikes with no restrictions other then the 45 lbs. weight limit.
I could be wrong, but i dont remember that specific sentence being tehre yesterday.

I agree that is very promising and can't wait to see what happens, and personally have no problem paying more this summer season to help fund the ongoing venture/effort.. I would like to see them perhaps refer to it as just Mountain Biking if they won't refer to it as DH, but I don't like seeing this particular link (see below) and seeing their header on the page listed as "Cross Country Paradise".. I still think that sends a mixed message for those people who ride the chair for the purpose of DH..

Rate information can be found at Cross Country Mountain Biking Rates.

mg715, ill bet that theyre gonna keep updating the site as things get going. the "cross country paradise" phrase has been on there a long time (and its still gonna be a xc paradise on the natl forest trails). im sure theyll eventually advertise DH or just "mountain biking" too. Im fine with them not adverising DH, less crowded lifts, haha. Just kidding I want SS to do well and make lots of cash during the sumemr with theyre new plans. Even if they just have a few trails rolling this summer ill be there supporting them.
Im so stoked on this, hard for me to get the time and cash to go to northstar or whistler.

Probably means the permits went through recently.

    :)

I'm thinking Blake (OC Rider) mixed me up with mfoga.. I don't know Mark (mfoga) personally and don't know if he has a kid but I assume the "Ryan" mentioned is my kid..
So classic reading this thread.. Blake if you're talking about me you know I can't wait to come up with Ryan and do some shredding with you bro..
