    Dave,

I just got a Banshee Wildcard. This has 5" of travel with a 2.25" shock so almost 2:1. This thing pedals great, has a low bb and i have been very impressed.

    Oh, you mean this? ;)

(Note that it's a size small, but a medium is an inch longer and a large is an inch longer than that - the seat tube length remains about the same.)

stop posting a ton of pictures of the same bike Lee ;) (yeah, I know you have 2)

but yeah, for only DH, I'd say a boxxer would be cool. I don't see you doing many X-ups from what I hear, and since I believe you said you'd leave the climbing to your other bikes, turning radius won't be a problem (it's not a terribly huge problem in the first place).

with regard to geometry, ask Neil if you can try his. he's got a totem on his, which is the same A2C as a boxxer.

if not one of those, I would go VAN RC2 or Lyrik Coil.

personally, I like the boxxer. great fork period. but I like a slacker bike and more travel. the SS has a low enough BB that I doubt cornering will be majorly compromised by a slightly taller height. by my calculation, the BB should rise a little under 3mm going from a 36 (A2c 545mm) to a boxxer (565).

also, with regard to cockpit height, sure a taller fork will be putting you 10mm heigher off the ground, but then consider that lots of people run that many spacers under their stem, run high ride bars, etc. going with a zero-stack headset, low bars and stem, you could probably make up the difference.

cool site lee. my oversimplified calc seems to underestimate a bit...

seems 6.8mm increase, or .27". that puts it at 13.9" BB height. sure, it's not M6 low, but it's not a high BB by any means.

if you're building it as a DH bike, it's a very DH geo. 65.5 HA, 23.5TT, 13.9 BB, 16.75 CS (which I think would be really fun), 8"/7" f/r travel. good times.

I'm starting to like the geo on the SS from what I'm seeing. mostly, shorter CS and slacker HA than my reign, and a similar everything else. screw it, I want an M6...

There is also a bell on the bike and she also has a basket. Seriously!

I think that's the best use I've had for the Park ruler. #-o
