we'll see if I get to a bike shop by then. need a new chain for the trek. man that thing hasn't been out in awhile though...

or more amusingly yet: throw the 66 on the mob, drop to 100mm, and enjoy the 28.5lb singlespeed awesomeness XD

Hey guys, will this be a real shuttle (no uphill pedaling)? Riding something other than Mt. Wilson like always sounds kinda good. How will this ride compare to the trails on Wilson? Interesting, interesting...8-[

Please stay off the lower stuff as we have been trying to keep it in shape.(Not for pedaling type by any means, (You earn it & typically have more remorse for grabbing a handful or rear brake and using the rear wheel as a rudder) It's the shuttle stuff w/ no return on the shovel side that kills it.) How's that for whining? You might not believe it however, it turns to hell without a shovel & pick here and there. What in the hell is the Troy Lee trail?

It's not ready for heavy riding at this point.....

Is this still going on? I'm looking for a ride tomorrow, any shuttle ride actually.

I saw two truck loads of big bikes going up today when I rode my DS up to the snow. The bottom wasn't slimy just good and rutted like normal.
I don't know what your talking about with the stay off comments??

I can be out there around 2 tomorrow. My only truck is too big for skyline when theres as much traffic as there was this weekend. If anyone else would like to offer there truck Im sure we would all pitch in gas/beer/food money.

My ride can fit 4 bikes and 4 riders (including myself), although 2pm may be a bit too late.

Offer stands if enough peeps want a ride up. I still want to ride. I will be riding the goose if I go. Want to work on riding the steeps on the bike clipped in. With almost 6" of travel, i need to put it to the test. The bighit is a taken apart incase I had to sell. I think I still might sell it to by the Bootr.

I saw at least 10 bikes heading down the trail today on multiple runs. As for staying off the lower trail specify which lower trail? I can think of 3-4 ways down without taking Skin suit or whatever its called from the very top. If you need help with trail work post up. Don't just blatantly label all people that shuttle and tell them not to ride your trail, Saying we don't deserve it or whatever you trying to say.

The problem with these forums is every person has to voice their opinion and causing problems where there is none. I think the moto's on the trail are a bigger problem then people shuttling on bicycles and the moto's dont even really bother me. If the trail gets "damaged" or whatever I'll just ride it because sooner or later someone will make a big deal in a even more public place then this and trails will get shut down.

Why ? because people cant just shut up and ride.
