Skyline RIDE Thursday 4-30-09

So instead of the loop planning on doing an afternoon skyline big bike ride. Either skyline-troy lee-diablo or skyline-skinsuit depending on how far we go.

I know gray has to come from Saintiago canyon if he can make it so wouldn't be able to make it till??? 5? 5:30 ? It gets dark late so I'm not sure on a start time.

As for the trail it is rocky, loose, rutted and the bottom of s suit is fast and flowy and they are all pucker factor fun.

Who's in? Ill send diections for parking later, after i get an idea on who wants to ride, keep in mind this is a decent ride up, if your pushing it will take a bit longer your gaining a lil under 2k on the fireroad.

we havent figured out the time yet, depends on when people can make it from work, prob around 5,

Parking lot ,
from 91 take lincoln south
right on w foothill parkway
left on trudy(construction area where houses are being built)
left Rawley and you will see a small parking lot by the gate to the dirt road

 

Shuttle right? My big bike is geared 38-26 as the easiest.

 

Of course I think so.. push bikes up fireroad to top.. it aint that bad..

Hmm, interesting... I think there's a good chance I can make it. I won't know until Thursday, but count me in as a definite maybe.

I need to get out I have been working way way way too much I need to ride.
I am in my shop here till 12 am every night getting peoples bikes out. After I leave my other job. I love what I do but I still need to ride. I will see what I have going on. :bang:

Station Wagon? Is that a station wagon thats upside down ff the side of the trail

 

Any updates and can anybody carpool. Im not sure I should drive right now as you may have read why.

 

it not that far on the bike trail, over in flate your tires so they will roll and then deflate when you get to the dirt i can pick you up at the end of the bike trail, and take you home after we ride if no one is going that way,

 

If I still lived in Yorba Linda, I wont have problem give you ride.. Although I live oppsite direction now.. So any word on time?? Got my 661 gear stuff today, im going to feel more safer with it since you said its loose rocky steep n slippery hills.. is it all techinical? What i got was 661 pressure suit comp..
