Does anyone in this forum ride Skyline in Corona? I know climbing it sucks but the downhill down the ridges is a lot of fun. There are some trails that are overgrown and I was just wondering if anyone wants to clean it up. Thanks!

Does everyone start at the gate over by Lincoln? Do you all shuttle up there or ride the long fire road up?

i usually climb it and beyond. You can go way up to the houses and park AT the gate.

they have been known to throw bikes in trucks and go to the top of skyline (beeks place) and haul ass down

That's what I usually do and then just bomb down the hill going through the ridgeline. Should I keep going higher to the golfball?

Hey, I'll help you clean it up. I have never ridden there and have no idea where it is, but I'll help, just for the sake of finding a new place to ride. Send me a PM, and let me know when and where.

Let me know when, and I'd be happy to come do some shuttle runs or something.

BTW, get that key yet? it would be nice to not worry about getting stuck back there

I'll be there tomorrow. I'm just going to mosey on up and ride the side stuff on the way down. Last time I rode it thouh most had broke off to the side and wasn't possible to stay up on it even with wide 2.5's. Last time I was there I was coming back down the fireroad and seen some kids going down with shovels. They told me they'd been working on it and leveling it back out. So I want to see their work.

Depending when I'll chip in on the work.

I should be there a little after 5. I'll be going all the way up but I doubt if I'll go to Beeks.
