I've never been to Vail Lake. With that said, how gnarly are the trails? Beginner/Advanced/Expert?

There cool, but with a shuttle there pretty gnarly. I hope the jumps are still intact at the bottom. There is one trail that you can get mad air if your prepared for the humps in the trail. There is good stuff, bring the big bikes since there is a shuttle.

    VAil Trails

The trail system at Vail has all something for everyone. For the most part the trails are more for agressive trail riding. Not so much long sustained DH. But lots of trails to keep you occupied.
i will have a map of the trails for the expo day!

    Baja Designs

Baja Designs has come up with there own high end Bike lights. They are super cool! 900+ lumens and very durable. I have been to a few meetings with them to help design and market the lights. The coolest thing about the lights is that they will be multi purpose. They are 300m water resistant and they will more than likely have a lifetime warranty. They meet military specs for durablility and they look rugged. Super simple, they get the job done. They will be LED bright!
Baja Designs will be leading out a night ride on Friday evening at Vail about 7:30- 8 pm Oct 2nd ( whenever it gets dark ). I am a big fan of their offroad moto stuff and I am happy to be helping with the new lighting systems!

What's the entry charge for the day on Sunday? (to get into the park.) I might have to break the Bottlerocket out of the garage. Although I'll be lucky to be able to stay upright on a bike since I've not ridden in like 4 months.

    Shuttles on Sunday

Shuttles are 4X4 trucks with 24+ ft flatbeds trailers ( with gated sides ). There will be 2-3 shuttles running! There will be 2 drop off points for riders ( one low and 1 high ). Day fee is $5 and shuttle fee is $5 for the day. Shuttle fee goes to Local kids groups ( Cast a Shadow ). Just remember you can always demo a new bike!:-k
