Forgot to mention...how does the Pitch Pro compare to say an Enduro Comp? Is it worth to fork out more dough for the Enduro? Thanks guys.

I think myself and ODB are the only ones on the site who have the Pitch. ODB built his up while I bought mine stock. Yeah, I upgraded a few parts like the wheels and the shock, but other than that, it hasn't changed much. I love my bike and how it rides. I just wish I rode a lot more than I do now. As far as comparing it to the enduro, I wouldn't know since I haven't ridden one of those yet. The price for the Pitch was right on for me. I'm sure the enduro is a great bike, but I didn't want or have to shell out the money to find out. Try demo-ing both bike and see which one you like better. Good luck! :)

Thanks Jay for the response. The pricing on the Pitch is definetely a big factor for me as well. Gonna head to Rock n Road to demo them :)

i'm guessing - from the angle of your seat - that you do a lot of uphill pulls.

Thanks, TKBlazer!! We may make a few more this summer as a "really limited" edition kind of thing...only two in existence for now; mine and Carter's...

I'm adding a rigid chrome fork as well...I'll post it when I put it on...

Getting ready for annual tear down. New additions: took out the squeaky Spanks and replaced with Saint pedals from my DH bike. Am loving the Hans Dampf, which I put on only last month. I can't hear the Spanks on the other sled. Installed a Zokes RC3 Ti. According to my iPhone, the head angle is exactly 66 degrees with the Works Components -1.5 headset. Next year might bring 10 speed, a Race Face Narrow Wide 30T c-ring and the new 42T cog from OneUp Components. http://oneup-components.myshopify.com/ I need to ride this a couple of more years before I even look at a new trail bike :)

Holy thread resurrection Batman - last post 5.5 years ago! It was kind of fun to look through some of those "older" AM bikes to see what we were riding then. Not a lot has changed, except of course, the end of the 26er era. That, and head angles.

Cool Trek Bing. You said your Marz is a 55, not a 44 right?

Yeah, its a 55 RC3 Ti. I held back on the big forked trail bike thing for the longest time. Boy was I wrong. Didnt think it would make much of a difference. Can't tell much the way it rides, but the brain knows when there is more control and the brain is telling me to keep on ramming through the gnar :)

My 55 (160) is noticeably more "plowable" than my XF Slant (160) even though there's only 1mm difference in the stanchions and a 20mm thru-axle vs 15. The Slant is a good fork, but the Marz lives up to its Bomber moniker.
