    Another conversion

This used to be a 26er, a Colnago Ferrari CX60 that I converted to a 650b Hybrid Cross bike using WTB Laser Discs, X9 rear hub and a 20mm thru axle front American Classic hub. It has a 650b White Bros Fork, Raceface 46T big ring and XT transmission. The shock is a stock crappy ass Rockshox something that I'm waiting to blow up so I can at least get a Fox RP23 or CTD. I'm going attend a Fully Loop ride soon so that I can buy a couple decent 650b tires from Fullerton Bikes, it has a pair of Continental 650b Tour Rides on it & they don't grip a sh*t.

Just finished building my birthday present to myself. I've always wanted a Moots so I decided to splurge a little bit. I picked up this Moots Divide (26" wheel) from a Moots welder. He built this frame himself and hardly rode it. The only original parts are the headset, seat post, and fork. Everything else I added with parts I already had. The 27.5 XT wheels are new from Shimano. Never new they existed until a friend told me. I'm not sure what it weighs, but it's not the lightest. I wasn't trying to build a light bike. Just something fast, durable and what nobody else has.;)

Moots, Moots, Moots, everywhere you go you see people jumping on the Moots train...

I think you accomplished your goal of getting something unique. I don't think I have ever seen a Moots full suspension bike on the trails around here - or anywhere for that matter. Very cool. I hope it rides great too!

I picked up a Diamondbck Lux 27.5 for my daughter the other day, she loves it and actually wanted to go riding in the foothills the next day. I almost cried.

mtbcop: Great bike!!!! Please let me know your thoughts on your drivetrain (shifting, reliability, etc). I am looking to do the exact same 1x10 (11-42) Shimano setup. Is that an XTR medium cage or long cage RD?

    Thanks and Enjoy!!!!

I'm currently using a long cage. I used a mid-cage as well and have not noticed much of a difference between the two. I don't know if I'm lucky or a good mechanic, but shifting has been spot on. I did loosen the tension a tad on the clutch. Doing that adjustment certainly helped the shifting quality.

Only have one ride but was impressed. No complaints, that's usually a good thing!

Went for a ride with CaraboaRay yesterday and we both brought our twins

Don't know if anyone else has seen it, but on our rides 26 has become an endangered species. We had 6 bikes on our Thursday ride and only 1 was a 26. Trek, Lapierrie and Devinci have all gone 275 for their DH bikes this year and I am sure that most of the other factories will go that way as well.
