Pretty bikes. They look like fun.

In about a year, this thread will just be called, "Show us your bikes" and there will need to be a separate thread called "Remembering 26ers." Mind you, I am not a proponent of eliminating 26ers, but it looks like the industry has decided for us.

I will cling to my 2013 relic with its 2012 straight steertube fork, 20mm front axle, 26" wheels and aluminum frame. It makes me smile - a lot.

I thought i was going to go 650b with my next bike, but it looks like I will join you. Everything the same except the steertube, I'm taking a step into the future with a taper.

Bronson with a few tweaks, most notable being the -1.5° Works Angleset. Great bike, but the 160 Pike on that Kona Process gets me excited..

Santiago Oaks. I'm not brave enough to fly off the rock drop on Stairsteps.

Does your rear tire hit the seat?

No, its only 7" of rear travel (if its really that) the added inch or so to the diameter of the wheels makes a difference on a ride but seriously 27.5 isn't such a big radical change than the 26 to the 29. I do notice the bike pedals nicer, I feel I'm getting somewhere faster than if I was riding it with 26" tires. Also the turning radius is much easier on tight switchbacks than with a 29er. But to each his/her own.

Some nice bikes in this thread. Here is my 27.5 Banshee Rune. I will probably be switching frames soon. The Rune is a super adjustable sick bike but I simply like trying new stuff. My choices are the between the Norco Range carbon and Knolly Warden. Thoughts? [IMG] [IMG]

That Westridge photo looks like a video game including the freakishly fit human subject.

I am partial to Knolly, but I can't see how it would be much different from your Rune.
