Too bad they don't do a "Sport" or "Expert" Big Boy division:-k like at Sea Otter because $35.00 is a lot for one lap!

Unfortunately doesn't look like Rut will be going, so no one to suffer with in Sport SS ;)

I thought he usually races exp?
Neil race beginner:-k ,usually Sport or Exp (to get away from the sandbaggers)

Is there a sport SS and Clyde? I thought they were open classes....(all 3 divisions racing as 1)?

I believe Rut raced Sport SS? Not sure if they break it up. It's 2 laps. Clydesdale is 1 lap. I guess if you were Neil you could do it, but what is the point? You may as well just stomp on the competition at the start and save your money

Neil is *way* faster than any of those guys! There is no Sport Clyde, from what I have read on here.

My vote is SS but he's never raced the course, and he really wants to race with Darin & maybe Carl (if he puts rocks in his socks) :). We shalll see?

    haha, you guys are funny.

Well, if Clyde is only one lap I'll definitely do sport then to get two laps in. Sport 30's and I hope I can keep Mechmann, JfromLV, and Neil in sight for at least 1 lap.

Pre-ride today with Roger, Nancy, Willie and Jason. Jason was taking some pics so maybe he'll post a quickie RR .

SS on that course would be pretty brutal for me with all the short steep ups.

Fun course, lots of singletrack to keep you on your toes.

Can't wait till tomorrow. It'll be good times!

    Whew. That's a huge relief. ;)

Haha, whatever, I've only raced XC a few times and I'll be happy just to be a middle of the packer. I just want to finally come out to Fontucky and have a few laughs, race and cheer for some folks.

Yeah, it's pretty much an open class. All of the guy's racing so far this series have raced sport in other races. I think andrew is pulling off 43-46 minute laps.#-o

Race Clydes with us Neil, it'll be fun!:bang:

    Oh yeah........

    GODZILLA lives!

Just put the Gravity dropper on it, so, I'll be racing XC on it tomorrow!!#-o:lol::bang:

well, i took a look at the DH course, looks quite fun. with a couple hundred riders going down it it should develop some nice ruts in a couple turns.

and we will see how i feel tomorrow if i want to do 4x or not.

Just a quick thanks to all who raced out there today. The weather was great if a bit on the warm side. I heard someone say something about 84 degrees at like 3:30 but nothing concrete.

Personally I improved my time on the XC course by I think a minute and some change AND I was able to clean all of the hills except the last 25 yards or so of that Hellish long climb in the back of the course. With no shot at getting a podium in my class (The top three guys are finishing nearly 20 minutes ahead of me) I'm pretty stoked to better my time at each race. Thanks again to Maxwell, he's always pushing those around him and it really kept me pushing in the back half of the course. (Heck I almost kept up with him for like a mile...but I figure that was just 'cause he was on like a 6" travel bike. )

The 4x races were awesome! I have a blast on the course. With a new stem from Bob (Thank you Bob) and some adjustments from one of the pros I got out there and the bike feels much better. I didn't place but Donny changed things up and I got two heats in. I felt WAY better than last race. Gill did great as did Ricky and Lee. I'm hoping that Sharky got a few pics!

Thanks again to everyone who came out. It was another great day of riding. Hope everyone did as well as they wanted to and had fun as well.:clap::clap::bang:
