Hey Herz - I was the rider that started right in front of you (#287p). I managed to pull off a 4th place finish for my first DH race ever. Missed 3rd place by 23/100 of a second.

The course was super tacky in the morning with a bit of liquid sunshine and I was feeling pretty good & fast during practice. By the time our class got to race the sun was out, the course was dry and rutted in parts and hardly any of my previous lines were there. Too many dabs coming down the top sucked for me. The wall sucks, but hey, it is what it is.

It was a good challenging course and I'm looking forward to the next race.

 

If anyone got 331z or the guy in the red/white and blue fox helmet for 4x, reference the guy on the ground in eric's pics:lol:

Hey Bryguy, were you the one that lost your shoe after your wreck? I was on the rocks telling you where it was and to get back on the F#%&U^G bike and GO!!!! Glad to hear you blasted by the guy that passed ya.

 

Today was fun, I was itching hard to ride. Next time.

 

thanks for the encouragement. I really needed it after that digger. I guess live and learn. my lesson: I can't maintain the pace that I like to maintain on those courses with a 5" bike

 

I checked my stuff and didn't see you anywhere :?: maybe you got eliminated before I got up there to take pictures or something

obviously not the greatest run but still super fun. if i spend a whole year not drinking cocktails and start running i might actually be able to get to podium. beginner class of course.
