I picked up a set of Shimano Saint cranks @ Jenson the other day. Anyone have any riding time on these, good or bad?

These cranks? They're not the xc version of their dh cranks. They ARE their dh cranks. Their whole saint line is freeride/dh stuff. From shimano's own site. . .

They're the ones. I was originally going to get a set of Race Face cranks but Wheelworld was out of stock on the Evo's. The Saint crank arms look beefy but their BB doesn't look too impressive. The plastic preload screws worry me too.

I was at Performance today picking up a few random things and asked them about the cranks. They said they were good but extremely heavy. But if weight doesn't matter then they will be awesome.

They aren't going on a XC bike so weight won't be a big factor. My main concern was their durability but it seems like they can handle some light DH from the reviews.
