    Hahaha... that's looking at it in a positive light. Without dwelling on the negative, he and his attitude were the final blow to the wedge that split MTBers down the middle, and had effects good and bad which DH has both benefitted & been unable to escape from ever since.

    Probably the most controversial rider in the history of the sport, for better or worse.

    Lets put this to rest, he didn't break the dropouts.
    Not sure if you guys realize but most top riders bring 2 or 3 different bikes to courses and then decide which one they like better or better suited to the course.
    I spend alot of time working with our pro racers both privateer and team sponsored and trust me, they are a finicky bunch and rightfully so when tenths of a second are between the 5 podium spots.
    And honestly, they ride soooo much faster and harder then us regular folks;) its frightening:(

    True, Palmer mentioned it on the interview. Mont Sainte Anne is a very demanding course and M6 is better suited for it.
