    being a former forum moderator (not on here obviously) I will back everything that Dino said in his list. from just keeping the natives in check, to cleaning up troll activities, it all adds up, especially when there's only one or two people actively moderating here.

    Not sure what specific issues others are experiencing. For me, if I click "thanks" my browser will freeze and if I click to last comment in a thread, it actually takes me to the first one..

    When I click "thanks," I get a pop-up of DOS-type stuff (I know nothing about computers, so if you need help translating my experience, let me know - a box pops up with stuff like dashes and words that are English, but not quite and definitely not grammatically correct).

    I get that as well.. it's basically showing the source code for the page.. but when I get it, my browser freezes up and I have to bring up the Task Manager to kill the browser and start over..

    That as well as the "thanks" code. Plus, if you have a hard time loading pics, just use the basic loader for now. Seems the other one will only let you upload 1 pic only. Also takes you right to the 1st post after you hit "submit reply".

    Wanted to give you guys some updates. As suspected, STR was indeed hacked. Grr @ hackers from Iraq and insecure forum software.

    Between dealing with various family issues, both good and bad, it's been a pain trying to fix things around here. However, I feel fairly confident that things have been cleaned up now. The forum software was also updated which should patch a bunch of known security holes. There are some obvious loose ends which need to be tied up including broken images, the beloved thanks, etc. I'll try and get to that very soon.
    In other more happy news... I'm an uncle for the first time. :bang:
