First day back at school for me.

    Any one else attending?

Also, i have like a 3 hour break in between two classes. Anyone know of some cool trails nearby? I'd love to hit up my night class all sweaty and dirty from a ride. :bang:

I'm taking the semester off from grad school at SDSU.....

Either way, depending how far you want to go, you could hit up mission trails or sycamore canyon. Both would require driving from campus.

Im in the same situation in san marcos.. I have a gap of like 4 hours and come back for a night class.. Im also not buying a $300 parking pass and instead buying a roof rack, parking a mile away in a safe spot and riding up past all the school parking lot madness.!

Im gonna bring a DJ bike and start working on urban skills between classes!:bang::bang::)

Ride from SDSU down Montezuma/fairmont to Mission Gorge. Take Mission Gorge all the way to Mission Trails Park. Ride for 10-15 miles while there. Then ride back to school. 2-300 hrs. Nice and sweaty.

you could also just drive over the hill (Twin Oaks Valley Road) through San Elijo and ride La Costa.

+1 on b5driver's suggestion. Rode there yesterday morning - it's nice and cool compared to the other inland rides with this heat and humidity we have right now.

I used to live by there before 2006, me and some bmx riders would rip it up at CSUSM at night.

Went to CSUSM and lived right by there for the last two years. Man, before all that development went in there were some killer trails through the hills. Now I think almost all of them are gone. Anyhow, have fun.
