I spent the weekend at a men's retreat near Angeles Oaks and had the time on Sat afternoon to hike quite a bit of SART from Barton Flats. As you would suspect, there are quite a few downed trees that block the single track as well as rocks and boulders that have fallen onto the trail making biking quite a bit more difficult. There are still icy patches of snow here and there making walking or riding...interesting. When I left this afternoon the temps were in the high 30's and it was slightly snowing. If you are planning on doing SART... take warm clothing and expect to be getting on and off the bike.
