I have only been once at night which was extremely interesting and once during the day. I would say lets stick to the main loop unless someone really knows the way around and wants to hit up extra credit. Regardless, that place is so awesome to ride its all really fun.:bang:

Cool. I've ridden SCST probably five to six times and didn't even know there was a loop. Honestly to me it just seems like a crazy puzzle of trails kinda intermingled. Awsome trails though. I think i've had the most fun here just exploring but I am way down to the route you've chosen. I'll probably just stick around after and ride after as well.

I was really looking forward to SART but things happen, so SCST it is! I guess there will be plenty of rides out at SART once it warms up a bit so I'll have my chance. SCST will be fun and it's a hell of a lot closer too! See ya there.

    What Happen?

    Is it snowing/raining up there?
Is anyone who knows the S.A.R.T. route still doing this ride? I would still be up for the S.A.R.T. ride if others are interested also.

Tkblazer and I went up to pick up the BB camper for next weekend and to check out the trail (what of it we could see)
We stoped at the trailhead no snow very sunny, as we drove up it was very clear there was plenty of snow still on the trail. Some of the spots that don't see sun very often even on the side of road looked pretty deep. The back side of the 38 going into town had tons of snow.

We did pass 2 cars (they were going down) juts before Angeles Oaks with mtn bikes, and at the trailhead there had 1 car with a rack.

Nam was hoping to talk to someone at the lot, but all we got was the car.

This ride will happen again in the near future, I respect Neils decison to put it off a few weeks so *everyone* can enjoy the ride... :bang:

I belive Donkey is gonna give it another try tomorrow.

after driving through Angelus Oaks today and seeing the amount of snow still out there and reading Brian's conditions report it may be best to let the trails thaw out a bit before doing a large group ride there

I'll be there- but can ony ride till about 11-11:30. I know these trails well.
Neil- the Geoladders route IMO bypasses most of the good trails there, most notably Holeshot, Wall street, and Macky, all of which can be done in one "loop" (more of a figure eight.) We should begin with Holeshot, it's right at the start. I'll be happy to be a guide, although I'm sure others with local knowledge will show up too. See ya tomorrow!
