Do you take the 15 all the ay up or do you split off on the 215?? I'll be going up the 215, or maybe even up to the 10 by way of Beaumont. If our paths aren't going to cross before that, I can just meet everyone there. I know there were talks of different routes and meeting spots. For those of us that aren't familiar with the trail and the area, how about some exact directions to the meeting spot?
i might come ride this... last time i climbed out on the fire road from the lower loop, it wasnt bad at all. although i think our route was a little different than everyone else's that day.
I thought I read that they were meeting at the Edward's at Ontario Mills mall which would be no bueno for us. We can meet anywhere off the 215. I'll PM you and we can arrange it.
With a group this size, I figure there will be plenty of regrouping. So I wouldn't expect a fast pace.
Well... I also don't want to turn this into an 8hr ride. With a group this big, there needs to be some ground rules. 1. Know what your in for. There is alot of up and down in this ride and it is very removed and exposure can be an issue. 2. Come prepared. Bring plenty of food, water, beer, whatever. Tubes, tubes, tubes, boy do I hate tubes. Bring 'em if ya run 'em, otherwise go with Stans. 3. The group will most likely split into faster/slower groups. There will be no soldiers left behind.

Yeah, figured as much. If people want to go ahead I'm ok with that. I'm sure I'll be doing alot of the sweeping on the SS!
carpool I will be at the Edwards cinema parking lot at 7 A.M. at Mills mall for carpooling from the I.E.
