Its time for some SART love!

Meet at the turnout just past Angeles Oaks on your left, or on your right if you are coming from Big Bear, at 9am Saturday morning..the 23rd of August.
Hitting the extra credit section above the Post Office and then start our way to South Fork.
Refill and eat at South Fork then turn around for the usual fun of descending what we just spent 2+ hours climbing:bang:!
Plan on a 4 hour ride, bring some grub and water will be available at South Fork.
Here are the directions courtesy of geloadders:
    http://www.geoladders.com/show_route.php?route=151

    Hope to see you there!
oh, and I really like TELONIX tires from Kenda, or is it TELONIC'S tires:lol::lol::lol:? TELONIX? TELONICS?

So you are climbing the whole 24.5 miles and then come back? Think that might take a bit longer than 4 hours. :?:

Sorry I don't know that trail at all.

Just did that ride with my dad on Sunday, was awesome.

There are 2 sections where there was land slides and is hard to even walk by.
My dad tried to ride one slippery section of sand and slide down 30 feet with half the trail. Luckily my brother heard him yell and ran back to help him up the hill.

Several trees are down and otherwise is an awesome ride. Have fun. Maybe I can come up.

Also when you cross the fire road there is some stinging willow and it hurts like hell, I did not know what it was and just rode through it to have it slap me in the side of the face and the arm. I wanted to fall off my bike and cry. We cut it down though and put logs on it so it should not be a problem.

This sign and go right instead of up the fire road on the left. Then at the next fork we went right again.

I think we started at the wrong spot, up the post office road the SART sign and down that trail. 3-4 miles of super fun downhill, Was our first time but was still fun

Sounds interesting. Better on a XC bike? Or something heavier with a little more travel?
