Wow glad you are ok. You are one lucky guy. Heal quickly!

How does an uninsured driver get insurance?

Sorry to hear the news. That sucks and hopefully, it won't keep you down for very long. Healing vibes all the way! Bike and components are replaceable, we're not! Glad you're alive.

Riding in the streets scare me far more then any exposure, mountain lion, bear or techie single track. At least there, you somewhat control your own fate vs. some jackhole not paying attention and taking you out.

Woah , I bet Mr Boats put a world of hurt on that car also.

    He is one tuff Motha.
I bet he was back up and checking to see if everyone in the car was ok before he knew he was hurt.

Heal up quick so we can go do some riding.

I got hit by a truck on the one lane bridge up in Downieville in July, then almost got hit by a kid that rolled a stop sign locally two weeks later. I'm finished with riding on the street, idiot drivers are everywhere, they just don't see you. Even with your lights on, they are almost always in a hurry when they don't see you, or screwing with their cell phone or text messaging, when they should be paying attention to operating a motor vehicle. Only took Metro Rail to have an Engineer text messaging when he was supposed to be operating a train to get Arnold to make text messaging illegal while driving.

Chris, really sorry to hear you got hit, heal up fast and get well.

Cash simply, cures most any civil injury or CVC infraction...

Boat's, maybe smoking is not so "risky" after all......

I think about $5K would cover the damage and replacement on your bike. Or are you thinking more like $7K? :?::lol:

Damn it!! I am so sorry to hear that. Thank goodness you are still among the breathing.

Idiot drivers like that should pay. Sad thing is that his insurance will probably cash out and then what? He gets a couple points on his auto insurance?! Pathetic.

    Feel better soon Chris!
