    Thanks for all of the well wishes. I will keep everyone informed as to what the x-rays and MRIs have to say about the injuries. It is always a humbling experience to see how many people care here on STR.

    Basically the driver failed to signal for a right hand turn and he braked hard and pulled into a drive way, side swiping me. His insurance has already contacted me.

    My right shoulder is pretty messed up, and my left knee feels like I tore a ligament. My left thumb is definately broken, as is at least one rib on my right side. Of course there is copious amounts of road rash on me.

    The front wheel on the bike is pretty hosed (I think he ran it over), the handlebars are gouged petty bad, the saddle is toast and I think the fork is bent too.

    ouch! mend up! i've been hit too, on mtb bikes and on road bikes, & it's not fun. hopefully you'll be back on the bike soon!:beer:
