    Yes ~ you read that correctly!

    Chris was hit by a car yesterday, the car turned in front of him without signaling and smack down went Chris and his bike.

    Chris is doing okay *considering*, but is paying a visit to the Dr. today.
    He thinks he has a broken rib, his shoulder is killing him, a broken thumb, and plenty more!

    Healing vibes to you Chris! I hope things turn out okay at the Dr's and everything is superficial :)

    Sounds like his bike has some damage too!!!

    The front wheel is trashed, plus he thinks the fork is bent.Then of course more cosmetic stuff like scratched handlebars, etc.

    Crap. This is not good news. Traci did the driver stop? Are they going to help Chris with the medical and the damages?

    Bummer, I've ridden with Chris and know that he rides defensively on his roadie. I guess it could have been worse but that's not really much comfort right now I suppose.

    Riding on the road's scary.........I came so close to being taken out by an inattentive driver on the bike lane last week on San Vicente in Brentwood. I always try to save gas by riding to the trailhead, but I'm now thinking twice about it after what almost happened last week.

    Bummer, happened to me two weekends ago in Mammoth. I was padded up form the lift assist so I made out OK. Sorry to hear about this Chris...hope things work out and you are OK.
