lemme know if you got on the weekend (including friday). I'm tempted to come hit that same double you're dreaming of. gotta sack up already and jump something...

I honestly think the lower ones would be better to learn on. really forgiving, and actually give you and idea of what it's like to jump. the two upper ones are kinda meh...

They were a nice warmup but agree the first lower table is a good one to learn on, the next one is weird then next 2 are nice.

    his wrist was pretty floppy.
good thing he had his armor on, with the thumb things to hold his wrist in place.
hopefully he heals up quick, send him some healing vibes.

I tell ya, Matt13 really stepped up to the plate today! He did his first DH/FR stuff on a Heckler. Good for him! He did really well at the SSDHC trail....

~That super steep part at the top? He cleaned it!
~That drop before the trail split? Hit it!
~Those box jumps down the left trail? Hit 'em!
~Little doubles in the play area? No problemo!

For his first time ever doing this type of riding and on an XC (more or less) bike, he did very well! Looks like we may have a new freerider amongst us!

Looks like DHP needs to rename himself Framekiller Two?!?! My god that guy hurts a lot of bikes. Too bad about the guy who f'ed his wrist up.... sucks, hope he is OK. All in all a good day.

Also it was nice meeting Bryguy and Bflo...nice to put faces to names...

No worries on the Seatstay guys, took it over to the Path right away (ran into Bryan and his dad there too)

It snapped clean through about 1.5-2" above the rear caliper adapter mount, right above a weld. Left side only.

I'll be picking it up nxt Saturday since I can't get down there during the week. Not sure what the monetary damage will be. If Tani sees this feel free to let me know

Phil, if you want- I can pick up the frame for you on Friday. That way yo don't have to drive as far or something. I'm a little less than half the distance.

Your also more than welcome to borrow my Demo 8 if your bike isn't ready when you want to ride- provided that you don't break anything!

    That's OK Gary,

I'm going to have new tires put on my Z on saturday so I will just do that then take my other car down to the Path afterward. Probably ride on Sunday.
