    awesome RR, im sorry to hear that it was a bit too much suffering. I like to think of it as i signed up for this-- no pain no gain.

    In louisiana my rear wheel blew up and I had to hitch hike to Lafayette for a new wheel, very disheartening and at the time i distinctly remember thinking 'I'm never doing this again'... but life goes on, to Georgia, South Carolina and on and on... and today in retrospect i wouldn't have done it any other way. bike touring truly is a way of life "in the slow lane". Just get down to that granny gear and keep your head up.

    hehe, i guess its not suffering unless its a bit too much, right? but your right, im really glad the trip came out the way it did.

    and i shut my legs up by beating them into submission! :bang:
