Amazing journey. I can't even imagine doing that much riding.

Honestly reading your report gave me twinges of cramping in my lower back and legs... lol

    fortunately, no cramping for us.

we did have a few chaffing issues (dz nuts prevented any srs chaffing). the biggest problem for me was the chaffing on my thighs from the seams on my shorts.

other than that, no other bodily harm was done in the making of this RR.

We were talking about your upcoming RR at Hero's on Sunday. Fantastic report and great pictures. I fish up there often and you won't catch me climbing those summits. Hats off to you!

Out of all the RRs I have read on STR this takes the cake. I really felt like I was into a documentary like "Ride the Divide"! Awesome and happy you guys made it!

have you done any short ones? im really interested in doing this again, but 8 days of hard riding was a bit much.

Thanks for taking the time, and it's evident you spent a great deal of it, on this RR. California is so diverse and beautiful we forget it sometimes. I've driven a lot of what you rode, and it must be so amazing to take it slower and be able to look around (when you aren't wanting to kill your bike that is).

Great job. It's not easy to tackle those crazy long days once much less back to back to back. I'm sure as time passes, you'll remember more the epic parts of it and less the grind.....well let's hope so anyway!
