Bootleg Canyon's DH trails are pretty techy. I personally had to walk Snake Back just so I could get the confidence to attack it at any speed or fluidity. We enjoyed ourselves despite the hike-a-bike to the top that involved desert conditions. I did four runs and I was dead tired. By that time, I was already making mistakes, which signaled the end of our day. Till next time. For a long time, I really thought carbon knuckled gloves were more for show than anything else. I'm wrong. Clipped a rock with my knuckle. I can't imagine not having that sorta hard shell protection. The crushed carbon knuckle saved my real knuckle. The finger knuckles weren't totally saved.
