i have the solution....if you are tired of it all go live in another country! Whoever comes into office isn't going to fix anything right away, it's going to take years. like i said before, i can't wait till this is over!

Who's tired? And what are they tired about? And why move to another country? I don't get it?

I am assuming the statement should be- If you don't like it here, then get the helll out! However in politics, if you do not like something you vote to change it. And that is what this thread is about. Right?

Vote Obama, if only for the simple fact that Palin's wardrobe expenses alone will bankrupt this country.

Use your brains people. As a newcomer to the state and the liberal bias here is still strikingly strong even though I came from another heavily blue state. I'm not even trying to express any political opinion here, but if you adjust for inflation, overlay the preceding economic policies (whose effectiveness are subject to lag) to each administrative period, you'll be a lot closer to the truth than what some lazy minds might automatically deduce from this abomination of a 7th grader's graph.

What you forget to mention is that the majority in the House and senate during those years were democrats.
Where during Democratic Presidencies the majority in the House and Senate was Republican. Remember most policies that effect us financially have to go trough the House and Senate floor. Our current dilema is just as much the democrats fault as it was the republicans.

Apparently you haven't read up on NOblama's tax plan -
    1. REMOVE CURRENT Bush Tax breaks. (screw the little guy)
    2. Initiate his own 'tax breaks' (i.e., spread the wealth, suckaas...) and LOWER tax breaks (if any at all) for the un-rich.

Net result - WE ALL pay higher taxes. His little $250k a year plan ($250k is as far as I am concrened is a long way from being 'wealthy') is a farce.

NOblama’s plan to raise taxes on households making more than $250,000 will raise taxes on most small-business profits in America, up to perhaps a 50% tax rate. Say BUH-Bye to the small business (bike shops, etc)...

Explain why 41's curve is so steep and do you think Iraq has been free?

Or provide numbers to back your claims.

Who needed a rebate during the Clinton years? The economy was booming.
