last year at interbike, they had a pro night crit race and every other lap was a prime lap for prize money. basically, its a 1 lap sprint within the race. towards the end, the announcer kept saying "another $200 prime lap from rock racing!" ball just kept putting money into the pot for any rider to win to make it exciting for the fans there to watch, who were going BANANAS at that point. it was really exciting to watch...

recently at the solvang century road ride, i saw a ton of people walking around with rock racing hoodies and tees. some of them might not being riders... rock racing as achieve something incredibly difficult; they have made the jump to becoming a team that people want to be associated with as a symbol of their connection to cycling as a lifestyle. i see young fans (15yrs old, for example) wearing this stuff like its a surf brand. for cycling, this is huge! suddenly its cool to be a cyclist!

i cant remember anyone wanting to wear a banesto hoodie, or a credit agricole tee shirt to show off that they were a rider....

hey, im 15 and im not wearing rock racing, or rock and republic... Then again, im not sure i know many kids that are 15 that can afford an 88 dollar t shirt :?:
im really surprised they dont come with their own Rock Racing clothing line thats a little bit less than rock and republic, but more cycling specific.
    that would be sweet

dont be surprised if they do. wont be cheap, but a line of killer softgoods is very likely to be in their plan....

    I agree......

Long Live Rock Racing! Like it hate it however, let it and other's in their footprint bring back to cycling what helped in the creation of the hero's who brought glory to our pathetic representation (As in size) as a the greatest country in the world to cycling as a whole....

That's all well and good, but I'm not one of those people. I'm not going to give Michael Ball any of my money.

Ya its Rock & Republic jeans. They are based out of Los Angeles and all of their clothing is rather expensive. I have a pair of their jeans and they cost me like 230$
