I thought about this as well... When I got my RIP I never saw another on the trails now they are everywhere, so maybe a Pivot would be fun...

Uh oh. Hope that's only an issue with the silver frames. Maybe the glow in the dark paint made mine stronger;)

Just as I've been saying...29ers can't hold up to abuse. :-k:lol:

Wasn't this the bike you were contemplating selling? If so, congratulations; you get to sell a new frame! (hopefully)

I'm sure warranty will take care of it. Hopefully they'll give you a new front and rear triangle (or new complete frame).

Well, that's one way to break up your ride - at least nothing happened to you.

That seems to be a common place for many bikes to break. I have seen many Truths break there and my Turner 5-spot broke there. I was able to lower my seat post thru the frame as a splint and slowly ride out. Let us know how Niner deals with the failure.

I have been contemplating selling them all and starting over... The DOS is gone and now the RIP:-k The SOCOM stays(I just can't part with it), the SS is my ride until I figure this out... So I will be the guy on the ONE9 dying but getting stronger again until this issue is resolved...
