wait! That's the one that hit me. Who knows the statute of limitations on hit and run? <Just a joke>

As as for adjectives, I certainly wasn't going to use the one from the Aussie texting thread.

Hate to see if you did disagree. Perhaps start with a better preface.

Point taken.. but again I felt I could disagree with the SoCal comment without disagreeing about the idiot RR driver. I travel a lot for business and even places like Dallas and Austin where I think most of the people are all super cool, still have their share of DBs I have encountered as recent as the past 2 wks, so I just hate seeing OC/SoCal as this self entitlement target. We're both adults, so we can agree to disagree on that piece of your post..

Toyota trucks/utes and Subaru Outbacks are the only acceptable vehicles for mountain bikers to drive.

(Uh, oh - better duck - here come the Prius drivers...)

Note: These comments are made in jest to point out that stereotyping by vehicle type is pretty common - and usually contains just enough truth to warrant such classification - but what do I know, I drive a Porsche.

(Note: I lied about the Porsche.)

I drive a Land Rover and a Prius, I like to be carbon neutral. Have never run down a cyclist in my LR, since I am a cyclist, but now that I know it's expected of me I'll pick my targets carefully. Of course, while driving the Prius I would never run down a cyclist, I'm too busy driving in the car pool lane with a self satisfied smug look on my face in order to piss off the gas guzzling Mercedes and BMW drivers...and those idiot Land Rover drivers.

    Man, this gets confusing....
