Where are you getting this information? The reality is there is only one state in the US that will issue a drivers license without proof of being in the US legally - Maryland. There is a bill before their legislature to fix that. So, unless you're from Maryland, AND you commit a crime in AZ, I think it's safe to say you can travel in AZ without fear of being hassled. (That's if you consider being asked for your ID being hassled)

So, people with ID's that appear legitimate when run by the police will nevertheless be arrested while their citizenship is investigated? What would be the PC for the arrests or are you claiming that officers will be making the arrests without any?

"Many states refuse to require proof of citizenship when issuing driver's licenses: they wisely understand that it's more important to have people driving their roads with licenses and documentation than not, and requiring citizenship papers is a good way to discourage it."
Here is the link for all of you http://crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/will-drivers-license-suffice-proof-c

If you look at the bottom of the page what you have allready been warned about allready happened and the law doesnt take affect for another few days. A hispanic male was questioned about citizenship and he provided his drivers license and he was asked to show a birth certificate. He also ended up in handcuffs. So you all can argue all you want my points have been proven now stop refuting mine and prove to me all ilegals are "terrorists" and "drug dealers" my weekend has started see you monday.

Your quoted source of information is comical. Name one state besides Maryland that will issue a drivers license without proof of legal residency.

It's a moot point anyway. I suspect the federal courts will invalidate this bill but hopefully it will have provided the wake up call it was intended to, that the public is no longer content with the status quo of inaction on securing our borders and immigration reform.

Your post makes no grammatical sense.
Wth is a mesquite? They are NOT, I repeat, not building a BBQ at ground zero.
Most people who have read into the issue are not worried about illegals "taking our jobs".
A religion is not taking over USA. In fact I would go as far as to say ALL religions are losing their foothold in America as the youth becomes more agnostic and even atheistic.

"we"? That means you're saying one of two things. Either you're an illegal immigrant, or you are accusing us of saying all Mexicans are lazy terrorists. If the first, then I heard there are many great trails back where you belong. You know, in Mexico. If the second, then that is not the case at all. In fact, I'm Mexican myself and would be quite offended if people called me lazy.

I would like to add that just because I'm Mexican doesn't mean that I should be able to break laws with which I don't agree.
    Good day.

^^^ You end up in jail for suspicion of crimes.

For any stop, detention, or arrest an officer may use any reasonable method to determine legality. Government ID is not required to show legality.

Government ID (license, etc.) is sufficient to prove legality when being released from arrest. It does not say that goverment ID is necessary for release.

Conditions for arrest : the usual probable causes plus ..
THE PERSON TO BE ARRESTED HAS COMMITTED ANY PUBLIC OFFENSE THAT MAKES THE PERSON REMOVABLE FROM THE UNITED STATES.

Ooh, since we're this far off the rails, let's explore this Creed thing further. I can't hear them without remembering the Scott Stapp Denny's punking. It's just too good not to be true.
