    Yikes! How ironic is that? Here's a girl who absolutely charges on a MTB, yet sustains a serious injury riding on the road. One more reason why I will not ride a road bike in SoCal.

    I hope she's better soon.

    well we dont know the full story...it said she was hit by a car head on...you can speculate that she might have crossed over the double yellow on mountain road like GMR.

    road riding has been one of my new found joys and i'm very defensive when i ride along side cars...

    I was thinking the same thing:lol:

    She is lucky this is still as far as it is from WC starting. She should be good by April with a dislocated shoulder. Only bad part is she will be limited on how much dirt training she can do for a while.

    sucks for sure. that's one of the reasons i sold my road bike. i can control where i am on the road, but i can't control the idiot behind the wheel.
