CarcinogenX: I am. There are tons of volunteers being organized to help mark the trail, be at key points, and crossing guards. We couldn't do this event but for the many volunteers.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Sorry if it's already been asked and answered, but can you sign up the day of the event? I can't find the info on the website, which doesn't mean I'm saying it's not there, I just can't find it.

The band is playing friday night. If I can make it through without drinking, I'll do the 50. If I have a hangover, I'm doing the 25.

Yes you are. Its totally do-able at all levels of fitness in my opinion. There is plenty of fuel around every corner. You should give it a shot.

Tony...you are SO ready for this ride! I just got back from pre-riding the first 25 miles of this and it's not much more than the Fully Loop located in OC. You're actually ready for the 50. There will be plenty of your friends riding the event, come on out and play!

How much liquids do you pack with you on the beginning of the ride? I understand there are stations to re-fill along the way. Want to make sure I don't pack too much but have enough during each leg.

Also, there's some good nutritional advice on the site for the days leading up to and during the event - but what do you usually eat on the morning of? The race starts at 7 AM - what would you recommend as a decent breakfast?

Melster, so you over-calculated our training ride by about 10, but I like where you're head was at!! Read the posts, you know you can do the 50. It's not a race, it's a ride. Do some pedalling this week or at least some walking to keep the gains you got in your legs over the weekend. Don't start cold after being off for 6 days.
