I'm a fan of the weirdo solo.

And just for the record, Hotchkiss just got home from work, and I just had to sit thru a history lesson about all the bands that Adrian Belew played with. (sigh. part of being married to a music snob)

I've seen Adrian Belew play a few times at Mables in Champaign, IL...very interesting man and music. So I'm not sure how this thread goes, or really understand the game, but here goes.

    Wu Tang Clan

    Thriller

    Soul Bossa Nova

If I'm way off base, tell me to leave. LOL!

Subbing in for carlosmparada here (if I may be so bold)... Here are da rulez:

Band/Song 1 - Last song from previous thread
Band/Song 2 - A song you feel relates: same style, same players (different band), same producer, etc. -- very open-ended (post a link so we can hear it!)
    ------
Band/Song 3 - Band/Artist/Song of your choosing, in any style whatsoever (maybe post a link here, too)

Violate da roolz, and we hafta keeeeel you!!! Just kidding. Now, enjoy yourselves. I've found a bunch of new music just in the last week as I have followed this thread. Try again BDB...

    How tonight.

Just throwing this out there for anyone in LA tonight. I think I might go, Capillary Action sounds interesting ( likened to Red Krayola.) Upsilon Acrux is good but is all new guys except for Paul- who's technically the band with a revolving cast. And Astral Tan is Ex- Bad Dudes and Miracle Chosuke. Should be fun.

It's just the natural progression with the intense interest of music that we all share. I had actually just heard of Steve Reich (I know, Some stuff eludes me for a while) the morning I made that post.

    The Shins - Fantom Limb
Jon Brion - Walking Through Walls

    psyOpus - The White Light
