It would be probably easier to get a presta to schrader adapter. Spin it onto the valve stem and just use your existing (schrader) chuck. Or am I missing something?
That's easy too, but I can see where actually having the chuck would be handy. Plus, I try not to reason why a question was asked and just try to help by answering it.

You can pump more air than is safe to put in your tire. All you need is an o-ring or something to minimize leakage around the outside, although it's not critical. The air pressure on the compressor side will push the presta stem down, so you need not concern yourself with a "pusher" in the center of the chuck.
