Posting reply does not show up in what's new section?

    Maybe I need to set something, but when I reply (with or without quotes) it does not post as an updated post in "What's New?" or "New Posts" sections. The post is there if I look under the specific forum section. Is there a setting in my profile that needs to be selected?

    It won't show as new for you, since you already read it when you typed it.
