When someone sends me a Private Message, it would show up on my Black Berry and my computer. All of a sudden it stopped. I get message notifications from other sites but not STR. I never changed anything on either my BB or my Mac. Any ideas?
I received it at STR but not on the BB or the two computers in the house. All three used to prompt me that I had a PM at STR and I could read the msg. with the prompt. Jeanine coincidentally had a computer service person here and she played with the settings on STR for a bit. Everything is correctly checked and marked. We changed the email address and sent a msg. and still did not receive anything on BB. We unchecked and saved then rechecked and saved then unchecked and re-saved and we danced naked outside while clapping and chanting and it's still not working! :?: Time to bring in the big guns! :-k
funny, liz... my notifications were stopped here, too! i went in & changed them back, but now they've stopped again! i thought i'd done something... :?: edit: sometimes i get popups saying i have a pm, but they've stopped. i have to manually check (remember to look) to see if i've got a pm...
OK At least I'm not the only one. It's aggravating! I've been getting this 50% of the time when I try to send a message too. Anyone else? (Now how the heck did my font just change?? WTH??) "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."
same here no pms coming over thru my BB either thought it was my phone so i swithed over to my android and still no bueno.....:?:
It looks like the STR e-mail system is broken. At first it seemed intermittent, now it looks like it's completely toast. I notified George.
I really don't have an answer to that. I know Craig notified George about it, but we haven't heard back. I had the same problem as you did, but it seems I'm getting email notifications again as well as the pop up when I first get on STR. Sort of hit and miss. :?:
Sometimes The Homepage will not show that I have PM's but I will get an email on my Droid Telling me I have one Almost all the time. Thanks for working on it Mods! :beer:
I get my PM notifications on the computer no problem but as email on my Blackberry, still nothing! :?: I miss it!
that's true, check your email settings on your BB, working fine on my iPhone. When you receive an email on your computer or email service provider and not on another device then its the device that has the issue receiving emails somehow.
i've had no problems getting notices sent to my crackberry. it might be in your phone settings. It might think it's spam.
