I didn't make it there until around 4:30, but there were still lots of folks around. Managed to get off pretty light today:

Tubeless Minion F for the DH bike
Troy Lee padded shorts
SRAM chain for the upcoming singlespeed
and a little stocking stuffer for ms. harping

 

You tried on shoes for like an hour!! Nothing??

Actually, I found two different pairs that felt really comfortable (and that's rare when you wear size 47-48 ), but had to keep reminding myself I was shopping for the kids #-o

Thanks to The Path for putting the sale on! Had a great time hanging out and seeing everyone.

 

I made it there around 1pm, and saw Dino and whole bunch of other STR peeps! Good times! I missed out on Path jerseys that would fit me, so I didn't end up buying anything this time. There were some sweet deals on bikes though... had to resist!

 

I think that's FYM on the phone with his agent in #6.

Jeffj, really sorry that happened. I coach a u8 boys team, stepping up to u10.Its crazy how close you get to the kids and watch their progress. My son is my team so its even more special.

Good times today at the sale...good to see so many familiar STR peeps and glad to meet all the new ones!!!

The damage to the wallet wasn't as bad as i expected (had to remember that I still have all that last minute shoping for the family to do):

It's funny, I don't realize until I help the guy's out with the sales, how many cool people I've met over the years, just by riding my bike!:clap:

My highlights were;

All the crazy look's I got over my cowboy Santa hat! (thanks go to my wife for "encouraging" me to wear it)

Getting to say "good morning" to pretty much everybody that walked into the sale!

Getting to hang out, and talk with JeffJ about his daughter racing in collage, and really loving it!:clap:

Getting to eat some REALLY GREAT pie! (thanks Carolaine & Anne)

Getting to say Happy Holidays, and merry early Christmas, to pretty much everyone as they left.

Here's this guy always telling people he doesn't ride gears or road bikes. Next week when we are on our secret road ride I'll get a picture of him on that bike too.


Some killer deals there. I just had to keep the wallet in the pocket. To close to xmas. I will be back though and see if I might be able to swing a deal on a ss wheelset and I'd really like to see what can be done with a Specialized Roubaix frame or complete bike.

Now I'm kind of bummed I didn't buy the Race Face crankset. Under 2 bills and oh so very chiny!

 

Good times as always. I took advantage of the 2 for 1 tire deal and got some Nevegals, also some chain lube and some Red stem caps. Rode a few "BIG" bikes, but have not decided on which or how big I'll go. I won't pull the trigger on anything till after the March anyway. From now until then, it's all about the VQ.

I had to leave my wallet in my pocket as well. Just to close to the holidays. Props to Tim for all the great food!!!

I missed the pies but they looked awesome. The minty hot chocolate was good and I so need a body warn beer delivery system! :beer:
