    Restarted web/db services.

    Ya it's the site - I've seen the CPU usage on the server be > 95% fairly regularly recently. We seem to be outgrowing out current hosting setup. Gonna look into upgrading to a dedicated server. I'll post up when that'll happen and any downtime estimates once I know more.

    Okay good it's just not me! It started either yesterday or the day before yesterday (pretty sure it was yesterday though) in the early morning (~7 or so). It got progressively worse as the day went on yesterday (At 10pm it was so slow, I gave up and went to bed) and still pretty bad today.

    It's been really slow for the past week+. I thought mtbr was slow, but now mtbr pages load faster.

    Don't worry - it will :)

    I'm probably gonna get a setup with: quad intel core2duo 2.83ghz CPU's (12mb L2 cache), 4gb ddr2 ram, 2 x sata 250gb hard drives. Somewhat overkill but that's okay. 8)

    What kind of cooling setup do you have for the server?

    Also what core temps would you expect under average load ~50% usage with those CPUs?

    my PC rocks an E8400 c2d oc'd to 4.15 ghz, 4gb ddr2-800 :)
