Mini update: rode Turnbull today. And just a little background . . . I've only ridden maybe twice in the last year (sadly that's not a joke).

Actually felt great out there. You would have to go back to my counting coupe days to maybe find a version of me that was in better riding shape. Confidence on downhills isn't completely there though. But fitness was definitely there and I had tons of fun. Gorgeous day out there.

I am into week 9 and travel every week. I manage to keep up with resistance bands (for the pull-ups) and hotel gym dumbbells. Has worked out great so far though I have had to extend the program slightly since I have two travel days a week when I don't work out.

It really is a life change. I'm in week 9 right now and have to play in a golf tournament so I figured I'd just lift a little instead of doing the full workout and man, was it boring! It totally backed up the idea that using a DVD system like this that mixes it up keeps it fun and interesting. I really need to try the yoga but I usually bail. The plyo and Core videos are my favorite having had two back surgeries. I'm as flexible as ever! Glad to hear it's helping so many. All my friends are doing it right now and loving it.

I have watched the infomercials but have wavered on buying into the program - I had just never heard of anyone using it - thanks to all who have passed on their experiences - I am more intrigued with the program now than ever before.

Just ordered. Now I'm trying to figure out what weight of dumbbells might be most appropriate.

I got along fine with 15's, 20's, and an adjustable one that I usually had at 10 although it did go to 5 on some of the fly moves. On p90x+ there's some moves that I wish I had 2.5lb weights. Oh, on a couple moves I would max my adjustable one at 30lb (the 'lawnmower' type moves).

    Good luck! :)

    Good luck Chupacabra.

Tomorrow I get to do Core Synergistics which I hear makes Plyometrics seem like a walk in the park.

8lbs in 3 weeks so I know the program is working.

Hmm I was thinking about this for the exact same reason. Do you feel that it is working good?
