Great pic....:D Sorry about the off, but glad your well ...

Ever consider a full-face when hucking stuff? Still get the impact of course, but the FF seems to spread out the impact more. Wonder if any studies have been done on this?

Anyway, heal quick and don't land on your head for a while....;)

Wow - Tink, you are clearly very loved. This thread is 4 pages long!!!

It was a very very scary day. Her memory loss was substantial. Fortunately, Tink seems to be getting her memories back!

Sounds like you are healing up fast Tink. Nice to see, be sure to take it easy and ensure your 100% healed before you get on the bike again.

i finally got around to taking pics of my helmet's damage. it's very minimal considering the injury sustained...

notice on the far left 'point' the helmet is dented/crushed & there's a crack to the right of that...
    helmet1.jpg

close up of the crack through... (couldn't get a good inside shot b/c of lighting)
    helmet2.JPG

now i have to see if specialized offers a crash replacement program!

    According to the specy site:

Question: I had a nasty crash recently, and I am really glad I was wearing my helmet. I walked away with just a few scrapes, but my helmet is toast. I heard that you have some kind of replacement offer? What is it?
And do you need my broken helmet for testing?

Answer: Thank you for your e-mail. Technically your helmet has already passed the test, it saved your head. Once the helmet has passed this test, there is really no more testing to be done.
But, I do have a 20% off voucher that I can send you. Once you get this, you can take it in to your local dealer with your broken helmet (we require dealers to send the broken helmets to us) and get 20% off your next Specialized helmet.
Just contact us here at customer service
    [email protected]
    or call us (877) 808-8154
and tell us your mailing address, and we will send one out to you.
