    What a great night tonight at the first round of the series! 600 guys wow it looked like an XC race from the late 90's Jammed Jammed pack! I think the guys at OTH have done a great job with the event! Very proud to be a part of it!

    My daughter and I had a blast. This was her first race ever and she got 2nd Place in Girls 6-8.

    Dad on the other hand didn't fair as well. I'd moved up to Sport 4 for this race, I think I was last or second to last in my group (felt like it, lol). I had a good race and a fun time though.

    i had a great time, but man was it lonely being the only one taking pictures on the back side of the place. was too tired to do anything with the picture when i got home. i'll try to get them up tonight. great seeing everybody yesterday.

    It was another great race as usual. I jumped two classes from last year and I learned how to use gears ;). Super sport kicked my ass 18 out of 28, but I will be back for more next week. Yesterdays race only marked my third ride on my Giant XTC that bike is awesome! Great pics Thomas being slightly out of focus makes me look even faster.

    I believe I was the 1st DNF of the new OTH season. Rear flat (slow leak) shortly after the first climb. I was starting to feel good and making progress through the field when I felt my back wheel fishtailing on the single track section by the lake. Next week can't get here fast enough.

    That's awesome Fongster! I was out last night too and had a blast. My first OTH experience. I can't believe how many racers were there. I raced B3 and finished in the upper third and got the pint glass...nice! Some dang fast begginners out there! From one fisherman to another...was it weird to be at the lake without a rod? LOL!!!

    Last night was my first OTH race also .....I was doing so good till the last lap, way to much traffic on that lil left hander hill and the sand section in the marsh area when you stop you sink .....I wasn't expecting what I I saw here today. Lots of bikes but was fun, it just need a lot of improvement for the amount of rider out there IMO. Slower rider weren't moving over or staying to the right etc, but other then a few problems it was good fun......hopefully next race will be better

    DNF/Sport 4. Crashed five mins. in on first lap. Stupid stuff - went into the second descent in a crowd and was looking ahead to see where people were going and boom...hit the floor. Sheit. Popped a rib, konked my head good and...worse...bent front wheel. Sorted that out (stomped on front) and was looking to finish to at least make this a keeper for a drop later on. No such luck, after two laps my ribs were talking to me and I thought I might blow it on the last lap on those little drops on the lagoon side. Eh.

    Good fun, nice to see everyone.
