Opinions sought on a sub-$2500 road bike

    Some would argue that the older 9 speed Ultegra is stronger and more durable then the newer 10 speed.

    I'd say build something or buy used. Hell, even getting something off Bikesdirect.com and swapping out the frame could be worth it.

    I picked up my TCR Composite with Full Dura-Ace, Ksyrium Sls, bontrager XXX carbon stem, seatpost for a ridiculous price. I won't even say how low here, but it was definitely the way to go. You end up with much more bike for less money, plus if you ever decide to sale it you'll get your money back pretty much. New is overrated.
